For our first studio show, I did a package about the challenges facing the Women's Tennis team this season, since they have such a young team. Out of the nine roster spots, six are freshman.
This fall the team only participates in a few invitationals, with the majority of their season taking place in the spring semester. They are coming off of a 9-10 season. Their first invitational takes place September 26 and 27.
I also was involved in the package for Women's Tennis. I don't want to repeat anything Aaron said, so I'll just add on to it.
Kathy Bull is and will be a great coach for this team. She also teaches here at ball state, so she has the teaching mindset. It will really come in hand while dealing with this young group of players.
She has also been here for 21 years. You definatly can tell she is dedicated to her job. Just talk to her and you can feel her passion for the team. She wants them to succeed both on and off the tennis court
