The men's team seems to get overlooked a little bit but it is a very promising future. The men's team is a team that should be admired for competing on the division 1 level without receiving scholarships. This is a program that is on the rise and should be looked out for. Kyle Hembree a senior captain won the Doug Coers scholarship and he said, 'it was the only thing that mattered.'

This is a good team and one that you can have fun to watch or be around. After a solid showing in the Doug Coers and winning the House of Champions

Some superstitions about the diving team you may not know:

- Freshman Whitney Adams has to wear a white piece of athletic tape and a white hair tie on her right hand when diving. "I don't know when it ever started, but it's only way I feel comfortable!" During the Coers Invitational Adams held up the meet for about ten minutes after she lost her hair tie inside of the pool.

- Before every meet, senior David Lynn cleans his house and trims his finger nails. Junior swimmer and Lynn's roommate Tyler Dixon loves it, because during the swim season he never has to clean up the place!

- Senior Lisa Maertin will brush the front side of her head, and then the back side of her head with her hand right before every single approach.

- The common routine for all of the divers: one step, two step, three step, four step, leap, press down, and then catapult into the air. Not a single one strays from this approach.
